Hall Of Fame

Find out all the information about the Club's Hall of Fame, which includes fifteen of the greatest players, coaches and administrators to represent the famous Red, White and Blue since our foundations in 1908.

On 23rd January, 2026, the Club’s Heritage Committee adopted a detailed criteria (a criteria met by all current inductees) for inducting Club greats into the Sydney Roosters Hall of Fame in future years, as shown below :

Players: Considered amongst the finest players at the Roosters in the era in which they played, a Sydney Roosters Hall of Fame inductee would have achieved outstanding feats and is looked upon as a significant contributor to whatever success was attained by the Club during their playing career, a career which is also acclaimed by respected figures from outside of the Club.

Coaches And Administrators: The Heritage Committee may also determine that a coach or an administrator, who has elevated the Club to exceptional heights during their tenure, can be nominated for induction. Such a person would be considered one of the finest in their field within the Game.

An induction of a player, coach or a senior administrator should enhance, strengthen and honour the Hall of Fame as an institution.

To be considered for Hall of Fame induction the following criteria is to be met:

1. Minimum of five seasons of first grade at the Club (players and coaches)
2. Minimum of ten consecutive years at the Club (senior administrator)
3. Retired for a minimum of five years from the field in which they would earn nomination
4. However, a coach or an administrator with 25 or more years of service with the Sydney Roosters, shall be eligible for nomination, even if they have not retired from that position
