Pretty light morning with the game on tomorrow night, so after brekky Skids, myself and a few of the other boys headed for a swim to freshen up and then boarded the bus to Canberra Stadium for the captains run.

Straight to recovery after the run and then back to the hotel for lunch and a team meeting at 3pm.

We had the arvo off after the meeting before heading to dinner, which was a big occasion as we were extremely fortunate to have Corporal Willie Apiata present us our jerseys for the match. Willie received Victoria Cross Medal serving in Afghanistan and to have someone like that talk to you is out of this world. It was such an honour.

After dinner Alex Glenn and I went to a live cross over with the Footy Show, from dinner, before getting back on the bus and heading home for a good nights sleep.

Cant wait for tomorrow night, Im so excited to be back in black!

James Maloney Country Rugby League

We trained this morning against a young local side which was great fun and awesome to see them enjoy a session like that against NRL players.

We had a quick bite to eat for lunch after training before we had a signing-session with fans in town, and with the City squad, before the arvo off and then a function / dinner with the City squad and representatives from the Country Rugby League.
