It was a scrappy affair at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday afternoon, but the Roosters managed to come away with a 22-point win over the Wests Tigers.

Captain Jake Friend sustained a concussion just three minutes into the match after coming into contact with the hip of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves during an attempted tackle.

He was subsequently forced from the field to undergo an HIA test which he did not pass and was unable to return to the match.

The Captain has recovered well though, being cleared of any serious injury and will continue to follow HIA protocol over the coming days.

Kane Evans was forced from the field in the second half after sustaining what scans have confirmed as minor knee ligament damage.

Though it is not as serious as originally anticipated, Evans will still miss up to two weeks of NRL action.

Nat Butcher sustained a concussion in his debut for the Wyong Roos on Sunday afternoon and was unable to return to the field.

It is unlikely that he will miss any football as a result.

INJURY LIST

KANE EVANS | MINOR KNEE LIGAMENT DAMAGE | TWO WEEKS

JAYDEN NIKORIMA | HAMSTRING | THREE WEEKS
