Waerea-Hargreaves Unsuccessful At Judiciary

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has tonight been unsuccessful in having his Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge overturned at the NRL Judiciary.

The Club entered a Not Guilty plea to the charge following Waerea-Hargreaves' citation for an incident that occurred in the 58th minute of the match on Newcastle Knights player Kalyn Ponga, which the NRL Judiciary did not accept at a hearing earlier this evening.

Consequently, Waerea-Hargreaves will be suspended for two matches and hold a total of 55 carry-over points.

His replacement will be named on Saturday afternoon in the Club's 19-man Squad Update.
