Central Coast Roosters Make It 2/2

The Central Coast Roosters have sent an ominous warning to the rest of the competition with a resounding 32-8 victory over South Sydney Rabbitohs at Morry Breen Oval on Saturday.

After a strong Round 1 victory over the Bulldogs, the Roosters were looking to back it up against the Rabbitohs.

It was a great start by the Roosters with Yasmin Meakes scoring in the first five minutes of the match.

The Roosters kept the pressure on the Rabbitohs with tries to Brydie Parker, Jayme Fressard, Olivia Higgins, Isabelle Kelly and Mel Howard.

The Rabbitohs crossed for two late tries but the damage was already done by the Roosters, with Yasmin Meakes crossing in the right corner to cap off a great victory.

The Roosters will now prepare for a blockbuster clash against Wests Tigers while South Sydney will host Wentworthville at Erskinville Oval on Saturday.
